IMPACT’s next event on IMPACT Plus will take place on March 13 and it is Sacrifice. Last week the first Knockouts match was added to the card which will see the Knockouts Tag Team Titles being defended. The champions, Fire ‘N Flava will defend their titles against the team of Jordynne Grace & Jazz.
Now it has been announced that the Knockouts Title will be defended as well. Deonna Purrazzo will face ODB who is looking to become a five-time Knockouts Champion.
ODB made her return to the promotion in early February. Since then she has been seen alongside Grace and Jazz but was also recently taken out backstage by the Knockouts Champion. ODB was made Purrazzo’s upcoming challenger after she took her out after the main event.
Heading into the night, Purrazzo was expecting to just take on Jordynne Grace in the main event in a non-title match. Earlier in the night, one-half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions Kiera Hogan issued a challenge to be added to the main event. The match then became a Triple Threat.
Purrazzo was able to beat the odds and survived the numbers games. Tasha Steelz helped save Hogan from the fall as she pulled her out of the ring to avoid a splash from Grace. Purrazzo took advantage and rolled up Grace for the win.
After the match, Grace & Jazz battle Fire ‘N Flava as they head backstage. ODB then entered the ring and took out the champion. She held up the Knockouts Title to end the show.
Also on this week’s IMPACT, Tenille Dashwood defeated Havok. After a distraction by Kaleb with a K, Dashwood hit the Spotlight Kick to pick up the win. Nevaeh then went after Kaleb and took him out as Dashwood retreated and was more concerned about grabbing her cell phone for social media.
