Night of Champions 2011: Kelly Kelly
Kelly Kelly has had plenty of stunning outfits in her day. I can recall her awesome Wrestlemania 26 attire, her gold outfit from when she won the Divas Title and hot pink outfit from her Mixed Tag Team match with Edge, just to name a few. Up there on that list is her outfit from Night of Champions 2011.
Kelly was defending her title for the second time against Beth Phoenix, who she had successfully retained against at SummerSlam the month before. This time was going to be much more of a challenge. Phoenix now knew she shouldn’t underestimate the champion and she also had a hometown advantage, as the event was taking place in Buffalo. Kelly was not met with a warm reception from the crowd, but looked lovely in an aqua two piece, ready to defend.
One of the coolest parts of this outfit was that it had a little sleeve jacket attached. Even cooler was that Kelly kept it on for the match. I think it really gave the outfit a different look and her white boots and knee pads were the perfect choices to compliment it.
Much to the surprise of everyone, Kelly retained the championship again. Despite looking like a beautiful Barbie doll, she took Beth down like a G.I. Joe.
