Unforgiven 2006: Trish Stratus
Arguably, the most iconic Diva outfit from Night of Champions/Unforgiven history is Trish’s retirement outfit from 2006. At Unforgiven, Trish would face her arch-rival Lita one last time in a match for the Women’s Championship.
Stratus entered the arena in her hometown of Toronto ready to go out in a blaze of glory, wearing an all white number that looked practically sewn on. There were so many ties on that thing, but she looked amazing in it. Trish strutted down the aisle looking like the ultimate good guy, the hometown hero, ready to finish her career.
We all know the rest of the story: Trish made Lita tap and celebrates with the title one of the most emotional moments in WWE history. Moments like this one make me very happy to be a wrestling fan and it was great to see Trish going out on top and looking her absolute best.
