The Diva Dirt Writers’ Choice Awards 2012 are in the can, with awards being revealed over the course of December.
Some of the women who picked up wins have shared their excitement at being acknowledged by the Diva Dirt writers.

Writing on her Twitter page, Gail Kim — who picked up the top prize as Wrestler of the Year (she also won Knockout of the Year) — wrote: “THANK U so much guys! I felt great about 2012 and I have such a talented group of girls to work with and such a great company who supports the Knockouts wholeheartedly and believes in us.Here’s to an even better 2013 for the Knockouts! (sic)”
Meanwhile, former Knockouts Champion Brooke Tessmacher, who was voted Most Improved for the second straight year due to her continued progress as a wrestler, said: “I can’t tell you how great it feels to win this 2 years in a row. 2012 was my year. I gave it everything I had. I’m honored. (sic)”
Brooke also shared an award with Tara for Best Feud, and the Knockouts hinted that their bad blood may not be over.
Accepting the award, Tara tweeted: “Yippie! feud isn’t over. oh snap. (sic)”
Brooke responded: “Feud is surely not over!!! Worst friend with no morals to those who have always been so good to u! (sic)”
And finally, SHINE Wrestling, this year’s Promotion of the Year, released a statement about their win on their official website:
