Diva Dirt’s Top 30 Women Wrestlers Under 30, No. 18: Starlight Kid

Diva Dirt has kicked off our Top 30 Women Wrestlers Under 30 as of April 1. Below you will find links to the list so far as well as the newest name on the list.

18. Starlight Kid 23yo STARDOM

Starlight Kid joins the list after we already saw their Neo Genesis stablemate AZM appear at number 20. Much like AZM and other women in STARDOM, SLK started at a young age and debuted in the ring at age 14. She did take a year off before returning in 2017 when she became the inaugural Future of Stardom Champion.

SLK has been part of several stables during her rise in the promotion including STARS, Oedo Tai, and currently in Neo Genesis. While switching from STARS to Oedo Tai, SLK showed her character switch to the dark side and this was reflected with her mask going from a lighter color mask to a darker one. SLK as a member of Oedo Tai was seeking new members at the end of 2021. She would go on to have a trilogy of matches for the Osaka Super Wars in a rivalry against Momo Watanabe. The last match in the trilogy was an eight-woman tag team match that had SLK and Watanabe as leaders of their respective teams. Whoever lost the match, the leader would have to join the opposite stable. And in SLK’s case, she would have to unmask. Shockingly, Watanabe turned on AZM and her stable (Queen’s Quest) giving SLK the win. Watanabe joined Oedo Tai while SLK continued to stay masked.

At just 23 years of age, SLK has a highly decorated career. She has shown her quickness, speed, and agility as a former Stardom High Speed Champion, and she is currently a double champion. One, she holds the Artist of Stardom Titles with AZM and Miyu Amasaki and she holds the white belt, the Wonder of Stardom Championship. She is being challenged by her Neo Genesis mate AZM for the Wonder of Stardom Title at the end of the month during the All Star Grand Queendom event. The winner will also be in control of the Neo Genesis stable.
