Moving right along to number 29, we have AEW’s Anna Jay!
29. Anna Jay – 26yo
Anna Jay has been with AEW since almost the beginning. She signed with the company in April 2020 after having a match on Dynamite against Hikaru Shida. She quickly joined the Dark Order and formed a tag team with Tay Conti. They were often referred to as TayJay.
Anna Jay spent the year of 2024 with multiple championship opportunities. She challenged both Julia Hart and Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship. Also, she went after the AEW Women’s World Title when it was held by Mariah May. Unfortunately for Jay, she hasn’t been able to win a championship just yet.
Jay had a huge opportunity in 2024 by going to work in STARDOM. She participated in the promotions 5 Star Grand Prix having several matches against Syuri, Starlight Kid, and Momo Kohgo just to name a few. This was her first work in Japan and a huge opportunity for her.
We haven’t seen Jay on our screens for AEW this year just yet. She has a promising future and will likely eventually capture gold. She has become a key player in many women stipulation matches such as Street Fights, No Hold Barred, and No DQ’s.
Hopefully fans get to see more of Anna Jay’s potential in 2025.
