The wrestling world is in mourning today after WWE.com announced the news that iconic manager Paul Bearer has passed away at age 58.
Several former colleagues of Paul, real name William Moody, including the Divas have taken to Twitter to express their condolences.
Former Women’s and Divas Champion Beth Phoenix was one of the first to leave a message of respect, describing Paul as a “kind soul”. She tweeted:
Condolences to the family of Paul Bearer…kind soul who entertained so many for so long. You remain in our prayers always.

The woman Beth defeated on her final night in WWE, AJ Lee, also tweeted a message of condolence. The former Raw General Manager said:
#RIPPaulBearer When I first met Paul Bearer I completely marked out & he was kind enough to humor me. So sweet & humble. Such a legend.
