Prior to RAW, Charlotte Flair issued an open challenge for her RAW Women’s Championship. She retained against Alexa Bliss last night at Extreme Rules and ripped apart Bliss’ doll Lilly after the match. Tonight she was ready for anyone to face her and prior to the match, Doudrop got the approval [?] from Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce to answer the challenge.
During the match, Eva Marie would come down the ramp which caused the distraction for Doudrop. Flair capitalized and hit Natural Selection to retain her title. Eva would enter the ring after the bell rang and after saying a few choice words to Doudrop tried to take the spotlight away from Flair. Flair delivered a clothesline to Eva before exiting the ring.
Eva was still in the ring after Flair had left. She boldly stated that if she had the opportunity that Doudrop just had she would be the RAW Women’s Champion right now. In addition, Eva felt that she could beat any woman in the locker room. Shayna Baszler answered that call.
Although a match never started, Baszler caused Eva to tap out to the Kirifuda Clutch before dealing her with the same fate as Nia Jax felt last week. Baszler took out her former tag team partner last week by utilizing the steel steps and stomping on the arm of the Irresistible Force. After that attack, Jax is said to be out for an undisclosed amount of time due to her injury.
Eva now suffered the same fate as Baszler delivered the same attack to her. The crowd chanted “one more time.” Baszler did not oblige.
The last women on the show were the Women’s Tag Team Champions Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley – SuperBrutality. As they were talking about the upcoming WWE Draft, they had a backstage segment where Nikki tried to convince Ripley that they should have matching outfits as she asked her partner how she felt about the color blue. Ripley said she liked blue but on Nikki and not on herself.
Speaking of the WWE Draft, it will kick off this Friday on SmackDown and conclude next Monday on RAW. We will post our mock draft sometime this week prior to the start of the draft.
Check back with Diva Dirt as we will have a Discussion Post each match while updating the draft picks as they happen.
