Piper Niven moving from NXT UK to the RAW brand had many fans excited.
The former NXT UK star had many high-profile matches which made it a great idea to move her to the main roster brand where additional talent was certainly needed. What fans weren’t expecting from her debut on the red brand was a new name along with an omission about her time on the NXT UK brand. The new name being – Doudrop.
Ahead of SummerSlam weekend, Ryan Satin of ‘Out of Character’ sat down and spoke with the star. After asking her how she felt about the name change, she shows her first reaction with a facial expression that many fans probably had as well.
She then continued, “I pride myself on if any opportunity comes by I will never say no. Never, ever. Especially not in this business. You don’t get a lot of opportunities handed to you, so you just have to grab it and run with it. And I feel like that’s what I’ve done and I really want to make it my own thing. I think it is going well so far.”
Doudrop will be at SummerSlam this Saturday in the corner of Eva Marie who she has been paired with since making her RAW debut. Eva Marie faces Alexa Bliss.
