Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H are in the win column after returning to NXT 2.0 to take on Toxic Attraction.
On the Sept. 6 episode, Doudrop and Nikki returned to seek vengeance after Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne cost them a championship victory at Worlds Collide. Doudrop would pick up the victory after delivering a cross-body splash to achieve the pin on Dolin. Nikki isolated Jayne on the outside catching her in the ring apron giving Doudrop the advantage to get the win.
The Raw tag team celebrated in the ring after their match while Toxic Attraction looked on in disbelief on the ramp.
Also on this week’s NXT 2.0 in a highly contested match, Roxanne Perez took on Meiko Satomura. Following Worlds Collide, Cora Jade had tried to get a match with the former NXT UK Women’s Champion, but Perez asked her first. This angered Jade showing that her rivalry with her former tag team partner is far from over.
Perez shined bright in the match against Satomura but it would be The Final Boss to pull out the win. Perez would look strong despite the defeat but was attacked from behind by Jade. Satomura would return to the ring to help ward off Jade and save Perez.
Lash Legend was backstage in a segment with Pretty Deadly. She joined the new unified NXT Tag Team Champions to the ring at Worlds Collide and would end up brawling with Fallon Henley at ringside.
Another backstage segment had Kiana James talking on the phone with her assistant Giovanna Eburneo by her side. James notices Arianna Grace by her and asks for her help with Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark. Grace admits she doesn’t care for them either.
The newly unified NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose was not present this week, but it was said she will return next week for the 1 year anniversary of NXT 2.0.
This week’s taped NXT: Level Up episode had three women’s matches. This episode will air on Sept. 9.
