Tonight at Elimination Chamber, the first of three women matches kicked off the show with a showdown between Mickie James and Becky Lynch.
Both women began the match with a tie-up that spilled to the outside with neither women willing to let go until the referee’s count nearly reached to ten

As Becky was looking to keep control of the match, Mickie took her down with a DDT and began to target Becky’s left arm. Despite working with a weakened arm, Becky fought back with forearms to the midsection and an uppercut. This wasn’t enough to slow down Mickie, as the former WWE Women’s Champion was able to send Becky to the turnbuckle and hit her signature cornered hurricanrana.
After taking Becky down with a flying Lou Thesz press from the top rope, Becky took a high flying risk of her own by connecting a flying missile drop kick from the top rope for a near two count.

After an exchange of signature moves, Becky looked to force Mickie to tap out to the Dis-Arm-Her but Mickie revered this to a pin cover, which Becky reversed to a surprise pin fall that earned her the three count!
