Ahead of Elimination Chamber tonight, we’re taking a look back at memorable Diva moments from the history of the Pay-Per-View.
Today, we’re going back to 2014, when AJ Lee defended the Divas Championship against Cameron.
Cameron was one of a long line of challengers for AJ, appearing as a surprise opponent when her Funkadactyls teammate Naomi was taken out of contention with a broken orbital bone. Though she wasn’t the original challenger, Cameron took full advantage of her opportunity, coming close to winning the title when Tamina Snuka accidentally took AJ out with a superkick. Her hopes her were dashed when Tamina interfered, purposefully getting AJ DQed so she could walk out with the Divas Championship.
