WWE Superstar Eva Marie has issued a statement regarding her 30 day suspension following her first violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Policy.
Speaking with Pro Wrestling Sheet, Eva says:
“I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won’t compromise on its integrity. I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return! Thank you for your support.”
According to TMZ, the proper paperwork that Eva failed to turn to WWE’s Medical Group for approval was her prescription to Adderall.
Eva’s violation comes days before she was scheduled to take part in a six person tag team match at Sunday’s SummerSlam, which since has been teased to feature a replacement Superstar.
