The long-teased EVA-lution began on Monday night when Eva Marie finally made her return to RAW.
Eva Marie was scheduled to face Naomi in her first match since 2016. However, Piper Niven accompanied her to the ring and took her place in the match.
Niven picked up the quick victory against Naomi seemingly kick-starting a new duo.
Eva Marie already has high hopes for the newly-formed team. The former “All Red Everything” took to Instagram to post a picture of the duo wearing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The photo is accompanied by the comment “We won’t stop”.
Eva Marie returned to WWE earlier this year after months of speculation. More recently it was rumoured that either Mercedes Martinez or Piper Niven were to be brought in as her muscle/bodyguard.
