The SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley recently sat down with Kristine Leahy for a face to face interview on Fair Game. Bayley shares what some of her favorite storylines have been in her career.
She started her answer by sharing her feud with Sasha Banks in NXT. The storyline was one of her favorites because the two always tried to one-up the other. From this, it led her to win the NXT Women’s Championship.
Her second storyline she shared was her encounters with Eva Marie in NXT. She explains that Eva Marie garnering so much heat as a heel helped her character excel as a fan favorite. As a result of this interview, Eva Marie responded to it via social media.
She credits a lot of what she learned to Bayley and their matches together were some of her favorites. She says, “I would come back just to do a run with her!”
Bayley responded to Eva Marie’s challenge and asks her to come back.
Eva Marie was teased for a return in 2019 by WWE. They mention her on a list of which superstars they would like to see return this year. “All Red Everything” was the only woman that was on this list.
