Diva Dirt has learned that British independent wrestler Britani Knight, who recently featured in our Five to Watch 2010, received a tryout with WWE yesterday in London prior to the Raw brand house show at the O2 Arena.
18-year-old Knight is something of a wrestling prodigy in the UK as both her parents are veterans of the sport. Two of her brothers are also wrestlers. Knight has been wrestling since age 13 and along with her mother, Sweet Saraya, is one of the stars of Pro-Wrestling: EVE, even main-eventing the first ever DVD along with Blue Nikita.
I’m told Britani’s brother, who competes as Zak Zodiac, also took part in a tryout. This perhaps marks the first time that a brother and sister have received a WWE tryout on the same day.
Thoughts: I had no doubt that WWE or TNA would one day be knocking on Britani’s door, so this comes as little surprise. Not only is she incredibly talented but her looks are perfect for TV.
