Chasity Taylor may have wanted to wrestle “since birth”, but she had to wait until the ripe old age of 13 to finally enter a ring.
In an exclusive interview with Diva Dirt’s Chris, the up-and-coming indy star talks about getting her foot in the door doing ring announcing in North Carolina as a 13-year-old, which carried her all the way to wielding the microphone for SHIMMER and SHINE.
Chasity has since made strides as a wrestler as well, competing in a dark match with Tessa Blanchard prior to a recent SmackDown. She talks to us about that experience, as well as what it was like performing as one of Adam Rose‘s Rosebuds.
As a competitor in the Super 8 ChickFight tournament, Chasity has the opportunity to make history in the first ever all-female version of the original Super 8, which she herself grew up watching. She tells us about the research she’s done in preparation for her big moment.
All of this, along with talk about her wrestling idols, making her in-ring debut in an impromptu match and taking criticism from the SHINE audience in the interview below.
