Exclusive: Daffney Talks SHINE Debut, Extent of Her Injuries, TNA Lawsuit, WCW Memories & More

In March 2011, Daffney’s contract with TNA expired and like a bevvy of other Knockouts, she was let go by the company. However, Daffney’s story didn’t end there.

First revealing to Diva Dirt that she had filed a lawsuit against the company stemming from injuries sustained during her time in TNA, Daffney has been fighting an ongoing legal battle with the company. The details of the lawsuit recently emerged — over a year after the news first broke.

Now, with her return to wrestling imminent — albeit not in an in-ring capacity — as part of SHINE Wrestling, debuting this Friday on Internet pay per view, Daffney speaks for the first time in this highly emotional interview.

In an exclusive interview with Diva Dirt, Daffney, real name Shannon Spruill, speaks about her involvement in SHINE Wrestling, how the promotion came together and what we can expect when we tune in to SHINE 1 live on iPPV this Friday.

Daffney also shares memories of her time in WCW, including her Cruiserweight Championship, training in the infamous Power Plant, working with the likes of Stacy Keibler and Miss Elizabeth, and the final days of the company.

The Scream Queen talks about her recent stint in TNA, from working as The Governor, to her Knockouts Title match with Tara, to taking crazy bumps that lead to her injuries. An emotional Daffney reveals for the first time the extent of her injuries, discusses her lawsuit with TNA and shares a message with all of the fans who have supported her.

Also discussed is Daffney’s brief time in WWE, her work in SHIMMER, including her feud with Rachel Summerlyn and a lot more.

Logging in at nearly two hours, this is a must listen with the Scream Queen!
