Speaking exclusively to Diva Dirt, TNA Knockout and current Playboy pinup Traci Brooks spoke out for the first time on why she is not in the print edition of Playboy. In the interview which was made available on Tuesday, Traci said there was no guarantee over where her photoshoot would be published:
Traci says, “I was never promised the cover. That was someone posing as me. I never once stated that. […] That was false information.”
The original Knockout however, does confirm that there was an option for her to be placed in the magazine and that she shot some potential covers: “I did shoot three options for the cover but was never promised the cover.”
Traci’s spread was due to feature in the November 2009 issue to coincide with this month’s Bound for Glory pay per view, but the shoot was dropped in favour of a tribute to the late Charlie’s Angels star, Farrah Fawcett, who had a long history with the popular magazine. The decision was then made to make her photoshoot an online exclusive.
On Fawcett: “She was a Charlie’s Angel, she was a sex symbol back in her day so I can’t really be bothered by it,” Traci graciously concedes.
Elsewhere in the interview, Traci discusses how her fellow Knockouts reacted to her photoshoot, her thoughts on several WWE Divas, Gail Kim, the evolution of the Knockouts division and much more. The audio interview is 100% free for all readers, click here to stream or download.
