Tonight at Extreme Rules, Alexa Bliss defends the Raw Women’s Title against Bayley in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match. Will Bayley prevail in her rematch? The Diva Dirt team weighs in:
Abir: Alexa just became RAW’s “it girl”, so with her losing, there won’t be much sense in it. Bayley will be going down a path of constant failures to really anchor her underdog gimmick. So Alexa Bliss will take the win.
Alex: Essentially, Alexa needs to look strong if she’s this getting this mega push and Bayley needs to look weak for the crowd to emotionally gage with her. I’m predicting that Alexa will win and give Bayley the whooping of her life, but I’m also predicting that a third party will get involved with this. A certain Nia Jax helping Alexa retrieve the kendo stick and holding down Bayley as she gets a beatdown? It writes itself! Let’s also remember Nia wanted to be next in line for the title.
Josue: I think fans will see a certain ‘extreme’ side of Bayley in this match but in the end, Alexa Bliss will retain the title. After this PPV, I think we’ll see Bayley begin to phase out of the title picture to spark her feud with Sasha Banks once again.
Matthew: Alexa Bliss gets the win over Bayley, not because of that ugly segment last Monday, but because of how she is currently booked.
Stephanie: This feud is underwhelming and uninspired. None the less, Alexa should continue her reign since she’s carrying the title scene with her character work in spite of awful writing.
