Bianca Belair is one out of two NXT Superstars that make this final four. She continues to be one of the top performers in the black and gold brand. In fact, she will be facing Rhea Ripley for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: Portland on Feb. 16. She won this opportunity by being the last woman standing in a Battle Royal, last eliminating Io Shirai.
Generally around WrestleMania time, the main roster does call up a few Superstars. Now that NXT is seen as an equal brand there are still plenty of opportunities for lateral moves. Belair could be one of those moves.
With the abundance of talent flowing in the door, this may be the time to move some talent over. Belair would be a great addition to perhaps the RAW brand. Her appearing in the Royal Rumble and lasting to the final four would be a great way to introduce her on a bigger stage.
This would be Belair’s first appearance in the Rumble.
Io Shirai
Io Shirai is the second NXT talent on this fantasy booking. Shirai is picked for similar reasons as Belair. She falls into that category of one that could shortly move over to either RAW or SmackDown and an appearance in this match would help that.
The dynamic between Belair and Shirai themselves is worth investing in. During the number one contenders Battle Royal that Belair won, it whittled its way down to these two ladies. These two can put on a show. Along with Sasha Banks this would be a great ending to the Rumble.
If entered, this would be the second year that Shirai has participated. She saw herself previously at number 23 and was eliminated by Nia Jax after a little over 13 minutes.
