During tonight’s number one contender Battle Royal match, Asuka made a run-in attack when it came down to final competitors Ember Moon, Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot, leaving the match to end with no official winner.

Despite Asuka’s effort to avoid future competition, NXT General Manager William Regal appeared in the aftermath of Asuka’s attack to announce that she would defend her title against the three women she attacked.
