First teams announced for Mixed Match Challenge

We are less than two weeks away from the premiere of WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge on Facebook Watch.

As it was previously reported, the Mixed Match Challenge will pair male and female Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown to compete in a mini-tournament for a chance to win $100,000 for their charity.

WWE have announced the first teams for the tournament.

Over on the Raw Brand, General Manger Kurt Angle paired up the Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss with Brawn Strowman:

Meanwhile, over at the SmackDown brand, General Manager Daniel Bryan paired up the SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair with Bobby Roode:

WWE have also revealed that multi Women’s Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix will join Michael Cole and Corey Graves on commentary for the Mixed Match Challenge.

Update January 4th

Two more teams have been announced for the Mixed Match Challenge.

Kurt Angle announced that Sasha Banks will be paired up with Finn Balor for Raw:

Over on SmackDown, Daniel Bryan announced the husband and wife pairing of Lana and Rusev:

Update January 5th

Daniel Bryan has paired a second husband and wife team by pairing Naomi and Jimmy Uso for the Mixed Match Challenge.

The latest pairing from Raw sees Kurt Angle pair (a not-so thrilled) Nia Jax with Apollo Crews.

WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge premieres January 16th at 10 ET/7 PT on Facebook Watch.
