Much like last year’s inductee Torrie Wilson, Stacy Keibler would fall in the same category. Starting out as a WCW Nitro Girl, Keibler was the perfect sex symbol. She quickly became more than just eye candy as she used her wit and charm to be a memorable manager/valet.
Once WCW was bought by WWE, she served a pivotal role in The Invasion storyline as part of The Alliance (WCW and ECW). She was linked with high profile wrestlers such as The Dudley Boyz, Test, and Scott Steiner.
Once she started to become more of an in-ring competitor she would pick up some big wins against the biggest names in the company. These wins were against Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, and Gail Kim. She may not be a decorated wrestler much like everyone else on this list as she never held gold, but she was always a bright light to her matches.
Keibler was a big seller and could take a bump better than a lot of women during that time could. Whether this was being put through a table or taking a Widows Peak from Victoria before anyone even knew what they were witnessing.
She may have been part of the “Bra & Panties” era that often get looked down on, but her attributes outside of that shouldn’t be ignore. Much like Torrie Wilson, Stacy is a standout during her time within the company and should take her rightful place in the Hall of Fame.
