Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke

Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke may seem like a random pairing on the surface, but this could be an interesting team. They both had similar paths in NXT. They have a similar look, and both use power moves.

Lacey’s star is climbing. She’s poised to have a big year in 2019. It would be a shrewd move to package her and Dana as a team first to get some new eyes on her. It could be a litmus test for how to promote NXT prospects as opposed to the usual method.

Brooke has been paired with several superstars and it hasn’t really worked yet. Pairing her and Lacey as a Right to Censor-esque conservative heel stable could be a heat magnet. Evans is already using a conservative heel gimmick. Adding Dana as a partner wouldn’t change anything that her character is already doing.

Also, Brooke would fit the pinup/Rosie the Riveter look Evans is going for. Together they could challenge the usual beauty standards WWE promotes. Even more, this could be the first realistic chance for Dana to compete for a championship on the main roster. She deserves it, at this point.
