3. Ayesha Raymond
Ayesha Raymond is Harvey’s successor as GWF Women’s Champion, as well as a Mae Young Classic alum. Six-foot-tall and a rare women’s competitor who could challenge Charlotte Flair in a straight contest of strength, Raymond is at the height of her powers and ready for her next challenge.
Raymond could be the biggest star, both literally and figuratively, in the AEW’s women division. As it stands, the AEW women’s division is lacking a real powerhouse, and Raymond would be the perfect fit. She’s proven herself able to credibly wrestle people of all different shapes and size without compromising her intimidation factor (see: her title defense against the comparatively diminutive Valkyrie at GWF Revolution 10). She has all the tools needed to be a monster heel in the grand tradition of Awesome Kong or Nia Jax, but with Charlotte Flair’s ripped, rangy physique. AEW need someone young, hungry and on the cusp of greatness. Ayesha Raymond is that someone.
