Ruby Riott is another talent that WWE keeps dropping the ball with. Currently, she is out due to injury, but when she comes back hopefully she gets that big singles push she would excel in. The Riott Squad was her tag team with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. Unfortunately, that team has disbanded and has left all three women unseen since.
She has received a couple of title opportunities, but once she lost the focus shifted onto the next competitor. In fact, she lost to Ronda Rousey at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in under two minutes. As if Rousey needed someone to make her look better?
Riott participated in the indie scene as Heidi Lovelace. She has competed in many American indie promotions as well as Stardom in Japan.
If WWE can’t provide the success that Riott can amount to then I am sure AEW can deliver.
