Former WWE developmental talent (and former Diva Dirt contributor) Kristin Astara — also known as Krissy Vaine — tied the knot to her long-time beau, NXT’s Conor O’Brian, earlier this week.
Kristin met the Ascension star, real name Ryan Parmeter, during their time in developmental sometime between 2006 and 2007. The one-time Diva, real name Kristin Eubanks, was signed by WWE in early 2006 and trained in now-defunct developmental camp Deep South Wrestling before moving to FCW — now known as NXT — in Tampa, Florida, in 2007.
You may recall Kristin briefly making her big league debut on an episode of SmackDown in 2007 attacking Torrie Wilson. Shortly after being called up to the main roster, Kristin and Ryan quit the WWE due to personal issues, which Kristin later divulged exclusively to Diva Dirt in 2009.
Ryan was later re-signed by WWE in 2010 and is currently terrifying little boys and girls everywhere with his creepy/cool Ascension gimmick.
Meanwhile, Kristin — who made a few appearances for WSU and other independent promotions — has now left wrestling and works as a model for Home Shopping Network.
