A former WWE writer by the name of Chris Dunn was a recent guest on the Public Enemies Podcast. He spoke about some topics for the women’s division that never end up happening. One of them was a unique partnership considered between the current Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Billie Kay.
Dunn states, “I thought about looking into putting a tag team together with [Bianca Belair] and Billie Kay, where I thought we could kind of do a modern Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection with them. It would have been awesome.”
Also in this interview, Dunn spoke further about Belair and stated she wasn’t the original winner planned for the 2021 Royal Rumble. It was going to be Charlotte Flair. This would have made Flair a winner two years in a row as she was the winner of the 2020 women’s rumble match. It was rehearsed for Flair winning before Ryan Ward (current SmackDown writer) reminded Vince McMahon of the importance of making new stars.
