Yesterday via wwe.com it showed that Dana Brooke was removed from the upcoming SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania.
Brooke is shown on the photo for the match and is listed in the article. However, her name is no longer in the title of the match participants. This appears to be different whether you are reading it on a mobile device versus the desktop version.
Regardless, according to The Wrestling Observer, Brooke is in fact out of the match. Her along with Rey Mysterio will not take part in WrestleMania and are said to both be quarantined.
Dave Meltzer did not have any further details on the medical conditions at this time. It is being reported that talent and officials are being cautious if they are feeling sick in any way due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Brooke’s last post on Twitter was a home work out routine that she shared yesterday. She has not commented on her health status, so as of now we are taking this news as precautionary measures. Her last match was on the March 6 episode of SmackDown prior to the move to a no audience show.
There is no word on if Brooke will be replaced. It is currently being called a Fatal Five-Way instead of the original Six-Pack Challenge Elimination Match.
Diva Dirt will continue to provide you any further news on Dana Brooke and any upcoming WrestleMania changes.
