Gail Kim has been a tremendous asset to the behind the scenes production of the IMPACT Knockouts division. In recent years, IMPACT has seen crossover and collaborations with other promotions such as AEW, AAA, and NWA in contribution to the “Forbidden Door” aspect of the wrestling industry. Even in 2022, IMPACT shockingly had an agreement with WWE when Mickie James entered the WWE Royal Rumble as Knockouts World Champion.
While speaking with SEScoops, Gail Kim mentioned that she has indeed pitched for the Knockouts to have an event with the women of STARDOM.
“I have kind of pitched, I wanted a STARDOM/Knockouts pay-per-view. That was my thing that I kind of threw in the bucket. So, it’s something I have to push a little harder for obviously, because we do get a little busy, and we’re always constantly planning the next show, planning the next show. But I know the fans want to see another all-women’s pay-per-view. Last Knockouts Knockdown was great. EmPowerrr was great that Mickie ran and now Mickie is part of our company. So I would love to see collaborations again with some other companies and STARDOM was at the top of my list. I think that would create great interest and maybe some collaboration from other companies and women. There’s so many women out there right now and I think it’s a great chance to give them all a platform.”
Kim recently spoke as well about a potential match with Mickie James. She stated that if there is one person she will come out of retirement for another match it would be James.
