The Quintessential Diva Gisele Shaw has arrived in IMPACT! and the newest Knockout is ready for her first opponent.
After a few weeks of vignettes, Shaw made her first appearance in the IMPACT Zone on BTI after Lady Frost defeated Alisha. With Frost still in the ring, Shaw entered and paraded around the ring pandering to the fans as Frost looked on.
Later during IMPACT!, Shaw was being interviewed backstage and she had some words for Frost. Gia Miller brought up that Shaw kind of stole the spotlight from Frost after her win. Shaw says that after she makes her in-ring debut next week that Frost will “find out that the spotlight was, is, and will always belong to the Quintessential Diva – Gisele Shaw.”
This is the second Knockouts match already scheduled for next week as Mickie James and Chelsea Green will team up to face Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans. Next week will be the last show before No Surrender on Feb. 19 where Steelz will be challenging James for the Knockouts World Championship.
James and Green faced each other one-on-one this week in a friendly competition that turned into a DQ finish giving Green the win. Tasha Steelz interfered in the match by throwing a trash can into the ring as Green was heading up top. The two argued on the apron before Green was tripped up by Evans causing her to fall to the outside. The official then called for the bell.
Double champion Deonna Purrazzo was also in action this week as she issued an open challenge for someone to get a shot at one of her championships. Santana Garrett would answer the challenge and try to grab some gold. Purrazzo would be able to best Garrett and stay as a double champion.
In a backstage segment, The IInspiration was trying to convince Kaleb with a K to do a photoshoot for them. Once he agreed, Madison Rayne appeared angry at what he was doing. He stated that the champs were trying to trick him and seduce him.
Lastly, it was confirmed that Jordynne Grace will be getting her rematch for the Digital Media Championship at No Surrender against Matt Cardona.
