Welcome to another edition of NXT! Fresh off the back of Giulia’s thunderous debut at No Mercy, the buzz around the newcomer is palpable. Let’s dive headfirst into the action, shall we?
Tatum Paxley vs. Rosemary
Kicking things off, we’ve got the ever-mischievous Wendy Choo accompanying Rosemary to the ring. It’s a bit of an early rope tango for Rosemary with her trademark Upside Down, but Paxley isn’t here to play nice. After shrugging off a neck crank and delivering a cracking clothesline, Paxley finds herself on the receiving end of some suplexes, though she’s not fazed in the slightest. A quick facebuster later, and Paxley has Rosemary seeing stars. The Psycho Trap seals the deal, and Paxley nabs the win in just under four minutes. Not bad for a day’s work.
Winner: Tatum Paxley
Post-match, Rosemary clearly didn’t get the memo that the bell had rung, as the beatdown continues. Thankfully, Lyra Valkyria swoops in like a valiant knightess, and the two share a heartfelt embrace in the ring.
Jordynne Grace is on deck for next week with an open challenge. Who’s brave enough to step up? Stay tuned.
Jazmyn Nyx vs. Jaida Parker
After a bit of earlier verbal sparring with Fatal Influence, it’s time for Jaida Parker to face off against Jazmyn Nyx, with the rest of the Fatal crew lurking at ringside. Parker starts strong, shouldering Nyx down, but her wounded ribs quickly betray her. Nyx, ever the opportunist, targets those ribs with a swift kick and locks in a bodyscissors. Parker, proving she’s no damsel, powers out and hits a seated senton from the corner. A running hip attack later, Nyx is down for the count, and Parker secures the victory.
Winner: Jaida Parker
But let’s not pop the champagne just yet—Fatal Influence isn’t taking this loss lightly. They swarm the ring, giving Parker a post-match pasting for good measure.
Now, enter Roxanne Perez, who’s here to remind everyone why she’s the talk of not just NXT but the entire wrestling world. She’s all about crushing dreams and delivering reality checks—whether you’re the hottest rookie or the biggest import from Japan. Just as Roxanne’s ego is reaching new heights, Chelsea Green interrupts, lamenting the odorous nature of the crowd (as you do) while announcing herself as the new #1 contender.
But wait—just when you think you’ve heard it all, Giulia storms in, dropping Green faster than a hot potato. She lays down the challenge for the CW premiere show on Oct. 1, and Roxanne looks ready to rumble. Well, that’s one way to steal the spotlight!
