The Beautiful Madness is the 2024 Iron Survivor!
Two falls is what it took for Giulia to become the new number one contender. She will face Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title at New Year’s Evil on Jan. 7. At Deadline on Saturday, Giulia started off the match with Wren Sinclair and Sol Ruca, ZARIA, and Stephanie Vaquer followed (in that order).
All five women gelled so well in this match that it left many on the edge of their seats until the very last second. The first fall went to Giulia, but as the match progressed, each woman was picking up a fall. Unfortunately for Sinclair, she found herself in the penalty box more than any other woman as a result. Giulia would see the penalty box once though as ZARIA pinned her.
A big part of the match laid out ZARIA on the announce table from a huge powerbomb from both Giulia and Vaquer. The former teammates would then go at it, leaving Sinclair to pick up the scraps. She wasn’t able to do so at that time.
In the final moments of the match, Sinclair was able to get a pin of her own on Ruca, sending Ruca to the penalty box for the rest of the time. Sinclair almost pulled the biggest upset getting the second fall and victory, but no such luck. It came down to Giulia pinning ZARIA to get the win. However, the final few seconds was Vaquer trying to tie it up against Giulia but ran out of time.
Giulia and Vaquer were a high focus in the match as they went between their tag team dynamic to now facing each other which was well received by the crowd.
Despite all five women tearing it down in the main event, Ruca was the MVP while Sinclair held her own as a huge Wild Card.
