Global Force Wrestling has officially announced the formation of four divisions, each with a championship to vie for.
In a short video produced by GFW, each title is revealed. Among them is the Women’s Championship:
Each belt will be up for grabs in tournaments that kick off at the July 24th Amped television tapings in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In the first match of the Women’s Title tournament, Christina Von Eerie, Lei’D Tapa and Mickie James will face off in a Triple Threat match.
GFW co-founder Karen Jarrett spoke about the women’s division, expressing her hope that they can bring fans never-before-seen matches:
“We want to unite women’s divisions around the globe and give the fans never-before-seen matchups with the best female wrestlers in the industry.”
GFW’s women’s division has been expanding over the past few weeks to include the likes of Mickie James, Allysin Kay, Santana Garrett and Thea Trinidad.
