The Emmy Award-winning series GLOW is back on Netlfix for a third season. The new season finally has a release date of Aug. 9. The show is airing later in the year compared to the prior seasons that aired in June.
The show is based off the syndicated television show Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW). It showcased non-wrestlers who stepped foot into the squared circle. It highlights women who are models, dancers, and actresses who attempt to break into the show business world.
The show is set in the 1980s and takes place in Los Angeles. The end of the second season witnessed turmoil causing the wrestlers to have to leave their home and take a venture to Las Vegas.
The show delivers a wonderful main cast which includes Kia Stevens who is better known as Awesome Kong. Kong most recently debuted in All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) first event this month, Double or Nothing.
