Mickie James in “Magic in Mexico”

The Look: Mickie starts off in a crisp white robe before showing off a brightly colored bikini. Accenting the cute suit are dangly earrings, bamboo bangles, and a shell necklace wrapped around her ankle. The makeshift anklet is a little funky looking, but it’s certainly a “Mickie thing” to do. Her sunglasses are sexy cool, and top off a look that’s cute and faarrr from generically sexy. Mickie doesn’t just put on a revealing bikini and call it a day – she makes it her own, and that’s the best part. Grade: A-
The Poses: She uses the water to her advantage, splashing around for some interesting shots. She also creates a mirror effect by posing on it and casting reflections. Mickie smolders in the sun, looking relaxed (as one should on vacation) and ultra sexy. Grade: A
Uniqueness: Anything outside the studio is unique in my book, and an on-location shoot like this is about as out-of-the-ordinary as you can get. Mickie doesn’t stick to the “bikini photoshoot” guidelines, either. She plays in the water and takes some artistically interesting photos, adding up to a shoot that a plain old studio one could never measure up to. Grade: A
Overall: Mickie looks fantastic, and the setting, though limited to a pool area, still invokes the feeling of Mexico. Interesting photos certainly don’t hurt it either. Mickie owns this shoot, simply oozing sex appeal. Grade: A
