On the final AEW Dynamite before All Out, Hikaru Shida and Toni Storm teamed up to take on Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. The match took place around 8:40 p.m. ET, a notable change from the usual 9:30 slot before the main event.
With ten minutes to show up and show out, these four were physical from bell to bell, with Hayter notably taking some rough bumps. The finish ultimately saw Shida pin Baker to score the win and even more momentum going into All Out.
As noted, Storm, Shida, Baker, and Hayter will clash this Sunday in a four-way match to crown the interim AEW Women’s World Champion.
All Out will also feature Athena vs. TBS Champion Jade Cargill. But before they clash, the two will sit down for an exclusive interview with Mark Henry on this Friday’s AEW Rampage. The live Rampage will also feature a mixed tag team rematch as Ruby Soho and Ortiz will look to avenge their loss against Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara.
