AEW released their weekly report of the ranking systems with Hiraku Shida topping the Women’s Division rankings after a hard-fought victory over, now second place Britt Baker on this week’s episode of Dynamite. The position potentially puts her next in line to challenge Riho for the AEW Women’s Championship.
The top five in the ranking are;
- Hikaru Shida
- Britt Baker
- Emi Sakura
- Nyla Rose
- Allie
Shida and Riho have faced off previously in AEW at All Out back in August with Riho coming out the victor. Since then Shida has been making waves throughout the division and racking up the wins in impressive matches. Her hard-hitting style, charisma and genuine likability factor have made her a fan favourite with the AEW fans and the perfect person to give the title and the division a big boost.
No announcement has been made as of yet regarding any title matches although AEW hinted at a match between Shida and Riho for a second time.
