This weekend’s ROH TV offered up the last first-round match-up for the ROH Women’s Title Tournament. The match witnessed Max the Impaler facing Holidead. Holidead has appeared for the ROH promotion a few times before as a tag team along with Thunder Rosa. Max headed into this match still being undefeated in ROH.
Max continues their undefeated streak as they defeat Holidead to take the last spot in the quarter-finals. They will take on Angelina Love next.
Next weekend Aug. 21, the quarter-finals start and we will see Rok-C take on Quinn McKay and Miranda Alize battle Nicole Savoy. Then the following week Allysin Kay will take on Trish Adora while Max faces Angelina.
Who will make it to the semi-finals and who will make it to the final match which will take place at Death Before Dishonor to crown a new champion?
The promotion has also been teasing for some former WWE talent to make their way to ROH as well as opening the “forbidden door.” Which women would you like to see work in ROH?
