During the December 27th, 2017 edition of NXT, a huge Mae Young Classic star made her debut on the developmental programme.
After Ember Moon successfully retained her NXT Women’s championship from Sonya Deville, the winner of the Mae Young Classic, Kairi Sane, came out with a new theme, pointing at the champ.
However, before Sane could say anything, she was quickly choked down by none other than Shayna Baszler!
After taking down her former tournament competitor, Baszler stared down Moon, drawing the segment to a close.
Shayna made her debut on WWE screens during the 2017 Mae Young Classic. Here she defeated the likes of Zeda, Mia Yim, Candice LeRae and Mercedes Martinez, making it to the final. Unfortunately for Shayna, Kairi defeated her and became the inaugural Mae Young Classic winner.
The Queen of Spades has dominated the rankings in UFC, and is now ready to make her mark in WWE. Some rumors have speculated that the star will be teaming up with fellow UFC Four Horsewomen Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke to take on WWE’s Four Horsewomen Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Bayley.
Other implications have stated that Baszler will be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, with her possibly going on to win the entire event.
