SHIMMER is returning to the ring today with two shows taking place. One will be at Noon CT and the other at 4 PM CT. Based on the results that happen during the first show will then determine the second show’s card. This will be the first time in a year that the promotion will be putting on an event.
It was previously announced that the SHIMMER Championship match will pit the champion Kimber Lee against the challenger Willow Nightingale. More matches have been announced today prior to the first showtime.
First, the Heart of SHIMMER Title will be defended as the champion Hyan faces Nevaeh. Hyan first became an Interim Champion due to an injury suffered by former champion Samantha Heights. With Heights still out of action, Hyan faced Thunderkitty to solidify herself as the full champion. She defended the title in her recent tour of the UK against Alex Windsor.
Nevaeh was seen with IMPACT recently before her departure after a year with the company. She was one half of the first-ever SHIMMER Tag Team Champions alongside Madison Rayne (Ashley Layne).
Speaking of the SHIMMER Tag Team Titles, the champions The Sea Stars are set to defend against Sierra and Kayla Kassidy.
