Tonight on Impact Wrestling, Rosemary is set to go one-on-one against Su Yung.
Read ImpactWrestling.com‘s preview of tonight’s show below:
Rosemary vs. Su Yung is a match that we has been bookmarked for everyone since Su Yung burst onto the scene. The Demon Assassin vs. The Undead Bride. The future of the Knockouts hangs in the balance. Do we turn left or do we turn right?
The conclusion of the blockbuster movie Avengers: Infinity War saw Thanos standing tall in the end. Rarely does the bad guy win in the end. In Rocky IV, it was Rocky dropping Ivan Drago. The good guy usually wins and everyone goes home happy.
That simply isn’t real life and this Thursday on IMPACT the “good guy” might not win. The leader of the Hivelings, the beloved Rosemary might not secure a victory against Su Yung. We have no way of knowing what might happen when these two Knockouts come face to face. We simply know it has to happen.
It is like Batman vs. Superman. It is like two supreme beings coming face to face and Su Yung is the new kid on the block bringing all the fire, passion and determination to the former Knockouts Champion. Can Rosemary stop Su Yung? Has Rosemary become vulnerable?
The Knockouts Division feels like it is going through a change, that something is happening with one of the cornerstones of IMPACT Wrestling. A rebirth perhaps? Remember Tessa Blanchard showed up at Redemption. There is Taya Valkyrie hanging around. Kiera Hogan is waiting for her opportunity to shine.
There is never telling what is going to happen on any given Thursday night on IMPACT Wrestling. What will happen on Thursday night? Who will emerge victorious? It might be a cloud of dust as Rosemary and Su Yung clash and the future of the Knockouts world hangs in the balance. What will Knockouts Champion Allie be doing Thursday? We think she will have a very close eye on this match.
Tonight will also see a Redemption rematch between Taya Valkyrie and Kiera Hogan:
It has been a rollercoaster few weeks for Taya Valkyrie.
She was able to defeat Kiera Hogan at Redemption. However, she came up short against Allie this week on IMPACT for the Knockouts Championship. Now, Taya has another chance to get back on the winning side of things tonight.
Taya Valkyrie will have a Redemption rematch Thursday night when she faces Kiera Hogan. Kiera Hogan will be busy later today when when she is involved in the IMPACT Weekly Teleconference this afternoon. Kiera has now been to the dance a couple of times, she should be comfortable under the bright lights of IMPACT Wrestling. Kiera won her first match, but the questions have started to come out, was it beginners luck?
This is the time for Kiera Hogan to step up to the plate in a match against Taya Valkyrie, a Knockout that many people have pegged to not just be a Champion, but a multi-time Champion at that. There are not a lot of Knockouts that come along and bring the instant fanfare that comes with Lucha Royalty. Most Knockouts enter their career like Kiera Hogan. They work hard, they earn their opportunities, every single one of them and they climb the ladder and they stay humble and hungry.
So again we ask the question, who needs the win more Thursday night? Is it Kiera Hogan or is it Taya Valkyrie? We can certainly make an argument either way, but when the dust settles, both of these Knockouts need this win on Thursday night. On a night where the world will be talking about Rosemary vs. Su Yung, Taya Valkyrie and Kiera Hogan have a chance to become a trending topic and steal the night from all other Knockouts.
