Hey guys! I was all ready to bring you your usual step by step play of the Knockouts action today, but upon waking up this morning I found out that our Knockouts were there just to look pretty. Don’t get me wrong, the Knockouts are alwaaaays pretty, but I’m disappointed they weren’t involved in the match. That said, we did get a little action towards the end. ODB, Knockouts Champ Mickie James and Gail Kim all made an appearance.
Aside from the Knockouts, I don’t particularly follow TNA so I won’t even pretend to know much about the guys in this match. Moving on. Mickie got a little involved at the end, jumping on one of the opponent’s back to distract him, but ODB made quick work of her and sent her out of the ring. ODB’s team picked up the win, and Gail made herself known not long after. Gail pounds on ODB before the ref can pull her off, and when she’s out of the ring Mickie hits a cheap shot on ODB, then hightails it out of there! They might have had a common goal right there, but Gail and Mickie are certainly not friends as Mickie makes her way up the ramp.
So that was a disappointing showing for Knockout fans expecting a match, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Gail Kim announced a match for Hardcore Justice on her Twitter:
KO tornado tag for Hardcore Justice next week. No DQ, no countout stipulation. @gailkimITSME @MickieJames vs. @TheODBBAM @VelVelHoller.

Mickie James chimed in not long after:
KO tornado tag #HardcoreJustice No DQ against @TheODBBAM & @VelVelHoller ?! Hey @gailkimITSME don't make me do all the work this time ok! ????????
— Mickie James (@MickieJames) August 9, 2013
And finally, Gail had this to say:
@MickieJames @TheODBBAM @VelVelHoller yeah that'll be a first. Don't worry, the only person ill be counting on is myself ????

So there you have it! At Hardcore Justice, Gail Kim and Mickie James will take on ODB and Velvet Sky in a Knockouts Tornado Tag match. That’s sure to be an interesting one! Until next time, Eleri out!
