Update: Further updates have come forward from IMPACT. Rebellion will be a two-part television event airing on both April 21 and April 28.
IMPACT’s next pay-per-view event Rebellion was originally set for April 19 from Terminal 5 in New York City, however, that location has been canceled. This of course as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and the need for social distancing and lock downs that have taken place. The company has stated that the event will still occur, but they are looking at alternative ways to play out this event.
Most likely the event will (or has been) be taped at an unannounced location that will be closed doors to a crowd and strict precautions. There are a total of five women on the card. The matches are as follows:
Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie – Full Metal Mayhem match for the Knockouts Championship
Kylie Rae vs. Kiera Hogan
Tessa Blanchard (c) vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Michael Elgin – IMPACT World Championship
It has been said that IMPACT has taped two months worth of television in Nashville, Tennessee. This event mostly likely was taped during this. PWInsider has commented on Rebellion as follows: “there are plans to move forward with Rebellion in some form and perhaps re-tool the PPV as a special Impact on AXS episode or AXS special.”
