Indi Hartwell has taken the final spot in this Saturday’s Iron Survivor Challenge. The first-time match will take place at NXT Deadline on Dec. 10 and will have five women fighting it out to become the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Hartwell joins Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez, Zoey Stark, and Kiana James.
Throughout the Dec. 6 episode of NXT, several vignettes aired for the participants of the match on Saturday. The last match of the night was the wild card Triple Threat to determine the last spot which Hartwell won after defeating Wendy Choo and Fallon Henley.
The final moments of the match had Choo do a splash on Henley in the corner and Hartwell took advantage by dumping her outside of the ring. She delivered a blow to the back of Henley’s head and pinned her for the victory.
After the match, Hartwell would burst into the Toxic Lounge and tell Mandy Rose that she will become the number one contender and take the title off of her.
The other women’s match of the night was Isla Dawn’s in-ring debut in NXT. She faced Thea Hail and came out with the victory. After the match, smoke emerged with Alba Fyre appearing behind her. The two would brawl in the ring as officials try to separate them. Dawn sprayed her poison mist in the face of a referee by mistake instead of Fyre.
A second vignette would air for Lyra Valkyria which will debut in NXT next week.
