Welcome to the inaugural edition of The Indy Insider, where you will find independent women’s wrestling news right here.

  • On October 22nd, SMASH Wrestling will roll out another installment of the Courtney Rush/Cherry Bomb rivalry by making them fight inside a steel cage at this year’s CANUSA Classic. The only announcements that they’ve made is that Cherry Bomb (AKA Allie in TNA) will captain Team USA and Courtney Rush (AKA Rosemary in TNA) will captain Team Canada in a steel cage match as their main event. Cherry recently picked her first team member for Team USA and that is none other than Veda Scott, one of the brightest stars in ROH and women’s wrestling in general. Other members of their respective teams will be announced over the next few weeks.

This match marks the third time this year these two rivals face off, the last being a no disqualification match with Rush getting the win. Now with country pride on the line, this rivalry will be explosive once the bell rings.

  • Speaking of Veda, Beyond Wrestling will have a Women’s Wrestling Revolution showcase match at their event “Battle Of Who Could Care Less” between four of women’s wrestling’s talented ladies. Veda goes up against LuFisto, Alexxis Nevaeh and Jordynne Grace in a Fatal Four-Way match. It should be a very good matchup with these four ladies.

In other news, I recently found out that STARDOM will return to the USA under the STARDOM World Alliance on October 7th. Several of STARDOM’s biggest stars as well as possibly American talent will make their way to Corvina, CA for two shows, October 7th & 8th. I have no doubt that those two shows will be exciting.

Thanks for reading the Indy Insider. Catch you next time.
