Slammiversary is quickly approaching for IMPACT Wrestling and they have added another match to its growing card. Previously it was reported that there will be a four-way Monster’s Ball match for the Knockouts Championship. Now we have an intergender match featuring Tessa Blanchard as she goes one-on-one with Sami Callihan in singles action.
Blanchard has recently been participating in intergender matches for IMPACT since May. After taking out both Glenn Gilbertti and Jake Crist she has her eyes set to taking down Callihan. In a recent Twitter post, Blanchard provided some powerful words as she proclaims that she “will be the change.”
She had a recent encounter with her future opponent as he barged into the women’s locker room. This occurred prior to her match with Crist and as a result from Blanchard coming to the aide of Scarlett Bordeaux and unleashing on oVe.
For those who don’t want to wait until July 7 can get a sneak preview a couple of days beforehand. On July 5 IMPACT Plus presents Bash at the Brewery. Blanchard will team up with Rich Swann and Willie Mack to take on Callihan and oVe.
