Isla Dawn picked up a big win on this week’s NXT UK against Emilia McKenzie.
McKenzie recently made her return to WWE and the NXT UK brand after a two-year absence. Last week, McKenzie picked up a win in tag team action alongside Meiko Satomura. They defeated the team of NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray and Dawn when the returning McKenzie pinned Dawn.
This week, Dawn was able to get some retribution against McKenzie who could easily be a threat to Kay Lee Ray’s title. A title that Ray has held onto for almost 600-days. After a great battle between the two, Dawn folded up McKenzie in a bridging suplex to get the pin for the win.
Jinny had some things to say about Dani Luna on this week’s NXT UK. She had the following to say and stated that they will have a match next week.
“Dani Luna, Sweetheart – I know what you’re capable of. You’re one of the strongest girls in this division, if not the strongest. But you walk around with your ugly miserable-looking face and you act like you don’t even want to be here. And in reality, you don’t deserve to be here. You’re a small fish in a big pond who wears the same dirty outfit to the ring every time. And next week, when you step in the ring with the Fashionista, you’re just going to end up another fashion victim.”
Lastly, Meiko Satomura accepted Aoife Valkyrie’s challenge from last week. Valkyrie emerged after the tag team match at NXT UK Prelude and presented a feather on the ground to Satomura. Satomura told Valkyrie this week that she knows what this means and she accepts.
