Two weeks ago, Isla Dawn made her intentions clear when she interrupted Meiko Satomura’s celebration and laid out the NXT UK Women’s Champion. On this week’s broadcast, it was confirmed that Isla Dawn will receive her opportunity at the gold in two weeks on March 24.
Also appearing on this week’s show was the 4-Dimensional Stevie Turner as she interrupted Aleah James during an interview. Aleah James would not stick around to hear what Stevie had to say, declaring she didn’t understand Stevie’s motto. A match could be brewing between the two in the coming weeks. The last time the pair faced off saw Stevie come away with the victory.
Aleah has not been seen in the ring since November when she lost to Isla Dawn.
Nina Samuels, fresh off of her short trivia quiz with Andy Shepherd, was treating the viewers of the Nina Samuels Show to a tour of the UK Performance Centre. Seeing an opportunity, NXT UK’s leading journalist taunted Emilia McKenzie, pointing out that Meiko has been getting along fine without her. Emilia immediately shuts down the ‘interview’ and mocks Nina before leaving.
All eyes will be on the upcoming title match but it’s great to see different women being featured once again on NXT UK. Who do you think will walk away as NXT UK Women’s Champion in two weeks?
